We'll keep playing shows from Brooklyn to ole' Frisco and what could be better? to grow old together and I hear you say face to face "easy kiss me" face to face "easy kiss me" face to face

Bending worlds connect to my phone Exploring’s not boring alone There’s so much out there to go Every day won’t be the same Can’t convince myself this is the place I wanna stay Transplanted house plant on a plate What made me the difference and Securely stricken the roots they cannot dig in All the nice folks that I saw Neighbors homemakers and mom They’re all tied down by the strings Small town news is gonna creep I hide behind abject poverty Come on let’s give it a try Take a walk on my side of the line It may be you next time around Or maybe in some future light Of invisible sound but now Wind it blows your hair around In the soft spring air Please let me take your hand And we’ll take a walk Straight the right on out of here ‘Cause this place could be anywhere for all I care

I was twenty one years when I wrote this song I'm twenty two now, but I won't be for long People ask when will you grow up to be a man But all the girls I loved at school Are already pushing prams I loved you then as I love you still Though I put you on a pedestal They put you on the pill I don't feel bad about letting you go I just feel sad about letting you know [Hook] I don't want to change the world I'm not looking for a new England I'm just looking for another girl I don't want to change the world I'm not looking for a new England I'm just looking for another girl [Verse 2] I loved the words you wrote to me But that was bloody yesterday I can't survive on what you send Every time you need a friend I saw two shooting stars last night I wished on them but they were only satellites Is it wrong to wish on space hardware I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care [Hook] I don't want to change the world I'm not looking for a new England I'm just looking for another girl I don't want to change the world I'm not looking for a new England I'm just looking for another girl Looking for another girl Looking for another girl Looking for another girl

about

Shellshag Radio is a 322 song shuffled compilation of the 30 releases we have in our discography. It is the full discography, shuffled, and plays more than 12 hours of Shellshag and Shellshag related recordings, including bands that either Shell or Shag were in prior to Shellshag, a couple of dozen unreleased demos, covers and live tracks. Although Shellshag performs as a duo, and sometimes records without help, the secret truth is that all of Shellshag's bandmates from their previous bands play a big role in both Shellshag's recordings as well as live shows on occaission, and they are and always have been members of Shellshag. That is why we collected these exact 30 releases for Shellshag radio.

J Lee, Shag's bandmate in her 90s band Static Faction and the bands primary songwriter, has played guitar on more than 50% of three Shellshag albums: Destroy Me I'm Yours, Rumors in Disguise, and Shellshag Forever. Two of those and half of Rumors in Disguise were recorded entirely by Elton Ridge and Eric Haas, who are considered members of Shellshag as our primary recording engineers. The team still consists of more bandmates, like Greg "Tight Cut" Turner who sings into a guitar pick up on 2 songs on each of those 3 records creating a "vocal organ" effect that provides melonies and harmonies to Shell's simple rhythm. There's also Dan Misculin, aka Danny Lovefinger, who played bass with Shell and Shag in Kung Fu USA, and layed down bass tracks on a few of the songs from those same 3 records. Still not done! Ya know that killer weezery guitar lead in our popular song Resilient Bastard? That is played by shredding guitarist Nick Dimitriu from Turn Me on Dead Man. I still clain the writing of the riff, as I mouthed the melody and requested a sound like weezer's infamous break riff in Buddy Holly, and asked Nick to play what I was humming to him. He did just that- it's simple and a nice collaborative success at getting just what we wanted. Last but not least, my brother and bandmate in 50 million has played lead guitar and noise guitar on several tracks spanning the 3 records we have been discussing. His style is distinct and his genius ear for music make his parts some of the sweetest accents in the Shellshag discography. Many others have played on a song or two our records over the years, are considered family and their contributions, although on less material, is equally significant. For instance, on the LP "Why'd I Have to get So High?", 4 of 5 members of Cinci band Vacation: Jerry Queen, Jon Hoffman, Peyton Copes, and Evan Wolf play multiple instruments on the record. Lil from Swim Team and Ava from Black Planet sing on the record. One song is co-written and has vocals performed by Pookie from Pookie and the Poodlez. Hillary from Pretty Pretty and Marisa Paternoster from Screaming Females also perform on the record. There are evn more folks and I will try to list them in the credits along with the handfull of bands and people in this 322 song comp whose tracks have niether Shell nor Shag on them. They were on the other sides of split releases, so they are in the collection. Although 90% of this comp is the same songs that are on the other 29 releases, only shuffled instead of grouped by LP, there are 20 or so tracks that are exclusive to the shellshag radio collection, hidden in the mix, and if we sneak any more songs in, it will be here. Shellshag radio is also a fun and easy way to get to know the vast amount of music that our full discography provides, while enjoying some diversity and letting your next favorite song find you naturally. "The revolution will not be spotifyed"
